# How To Prepare Your Artwork for Speedboat

1. When creating your artwork, put each trait on a separate layer

2\. Make sure **all layers have the same size/ dimensions**

3\. Ensure that **all the layers, except for the base layer (usually the background) has a transparent background**

4\.  Make sure that each layer, when combined, *will make sense and not interfere with each other*

If you laid out all the layers from left to right, it should look something like the image below, with the 5th image being what will be generated:

5\. Create a folder for each trait of your NFT

6\. **Save each Variation for each Trait as a PNG file**

7\. The file name for each Trait Variation will be the Property on OpenSea
